Operated by WEKKAN Alliance Limited, a company registered in Ghana, WEKKAN is an education, entrepreneurship and mentorship platform connecting useful ideas with practical action.
We serve students exploring their future, aspiring entrepreneurs developing business ideas, and professionals seeking personal and business growth. Through insightful articles, interviews, educational programmes and mentorship, we make learning relevant to the decisions people face in everyday life.
Our Purpose

What We Do
Business insights and entrepreneurship education
We examine companies, brands and business ideas to uncover lessons people can apply. Our content covers marketing, customer experience, business development, digital opportunities and responsible approaches to income diversification.
Personal development and practical learning
We support the development of communication, leadership, financial literacy and digital skills. Our approach connects personal ambition with clear goals, useful habits and practical experience.
Mentorship and people development
We create opportunities for learning through guidance, discussion and shared experience, helping individuals develop their strengths and take purposeful next steps.
Future by Design
Future by Design is WEKKAN’s flagship mentorship programme for senior high school students in Ghana.
The programme helps young people explore career pathways, understand emerging opportunities and prepare for life beyond school. It introduces students to entrepreneurship, technology, personal development and the skills needed in a changing world.
At its heart is “From Dream to Design”: helping students translate their aspirations into a practical plan for learning and action.
We aim to work with schools, educators, mentors and partners to give students broader exposure to possibilities and a clearer understanding of how to pursue them.

Dr. Bright Kyei Wiredu
Director, WEKKAN Alliance Limited
WEKKAN is led by Dr. Bright Kyei Wiredu, a medical doctor, entrepreneur and mentor whose work spans healthcare, business development and people development. He is a Director of WEKKAN Alliance Limited and the Medical Director of Elixir Clinic in East Legon, Accra. His background combines medical training with executive business education and professional training in marketing.
Dr. Wiredu is actively involved in personal development, business development and mentorship programmes, with a particular interest in helping people build the capabilities to pursue their goals.
One of his core business strengths is high-performance team building. He has experience building and developing teams across multiple countries, working with people from different cultural and professional backgrounds. His approach emphasises clear direction, leadership development and accountability, helping individuals contribute effectively towards shared goals.
This experience informs WEKKAN’s approach to education and mentorship: practical guidance, meaningful relationships and consistent personal development.
In 2018, Dr. Wiredu received a Forty Under 40 recognition award for Human Resource Development, reflecting his contribution to developing people.
